The ACE boot camp course consists of classroom lectures and practical lab sessions incorporating prominent features of ACE module such as server load balancing (OSI model Layer 2 , Layer 3, Layer 4, and Layer 7), security features (including fix-ups and OSI application layer or Layer 7 inspection), SSL termination and offload, and resource virtualization and management.
The course encompasses following areas…
- Deliver IP applications ACE module
- Develop sound understanding of structure and function of the Modular Policy Command Line Interface or CLI statements, which is required to setup different ACE features
- Learn capabilities of an ACE module in load balancing applications based on IP
- Master advanced application networking using Layer 7 processing options
- Learn to create resource classes and new contexts
- Learn to create server farms and class maps
- Configure load balanced traffic flows using an ACE context
- Monitor real servers using an ACE context
- Configure and deploy inspection and fix-ups
- Configure IP application security using ACE features
- Configure SSL, NAT (network address translations)
- Use ACE module to configured High availability
- Perform functions with noticeable heterogeneity inside an integrated environment using an ACE context
- Learn common errors in SLB configuration and how to troubleshoot them
This boot camp course consists of 10 essential labs that give you plenty of hand-on opportunity to learn deployment, configuration, and management related administrative tasks in an ACE module.

"Great instructor with an in depth knowledge of concepts and objectives. All of my questions were answered in detail"
"Previous instructors in other courses made me feel uneasy, like they didn't actually know the subject matter, i didnt get that feeling at all this time around."
"The instructor was very enthusiastic and was able to keep me interested the whole time."

Other Testimonials
"The instructor was excellent, his teaching style and re-enforcing the topics with examples worked well . It has been the best training I have ever had including location of the hotel to the training room, the food service (very good too) that saved many hours a day and the equipment was perfect for the tasks required of it. Getting out of class at 10:30pm and being able to walk over to the room and starting the studying at 10:45pm was such a big help. Was it easy? Not at all, it took discipline before the class (on-line sessions) 45+ hours and during the class. I went to bed at 1am or later each night and was up a going by 5:30am every day. Was I tired each day? Yeah but I signed up for a Boot Camp not a Skillpath Happy Hour. I got to catch up on my sleep Saturday PM AFTER I had the two exams passed!! Also the staff were exceptional; responsive and handled everything right away."
