You will receive four (4) Intense Days of Hands-on training focused on providing the necessary skills and knowledge for Help Desk Professionals to competently handle technical support issues on Windows XP computers!
This Boot Camp will prepare qualified Microsoft professionals to earn the Microsoft Certified Desktop Technician (MCDST) on Microsoft Windows XP certification. The MCDST credential proves that you have the skills to successfully support end-users and to successfully troubleshoot desktop environments that are running the Microsoft Windows operating system.
This program is truly dual purpose: for cutting-edge skills development, we provide you with expert instruction and our Intense School brand of hands-on Labs that are accelerated and based on real-world scenarios; for test-preparation, you will practice sample questions and take simulated exams using Intense School’s time-tested proprietary practice exams. During class, each student will be given two exam vouchers for the required Microsoft professional exams.

This course includes Official Microsoft Learning Product (OMLP) materials fortified with Intense School’s accelerated Supplemental materials, allowing for you to get more intensive hands-on experience during class, as well as providing you an integrated approach toward certification success.
Our four (4) day intense Official MCDST Boot Camp provides helpdesk professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively trouble shoot operating system and application issues on Windows XP desktops. This is an accelerated immersion course, designed for computer professionals that require effective, real-world skill-building and timely certification.
Each student will work on hands-on troubleshooting exercises. Evening Sessions are not mandatory, but our world-class instructors are there to see the concepts of the day are reinforced through proper self paced exercises and practice materials.
The Microsoft Certified Desktop Support MCDST candidates are required to pass two core exams. The MCDST credential will not retire with the release of Windows Vista certifications; it will continue to be supported by Microsoft and valued by employers and decision makers who use Microsoft Windows XP.
The target audience will typically be new entrants to the IT field and career changers entering the IT field.
