What is the CISSP CBK anyway?
The CISSP CBK is an industry-wide standardization for the knowledge, skills and processes commonly accepted and shared by information security professionals. It is the aggregate work of expert minds, literature and best practices in information security. Contributors to the CBK are security professionals who may or may not be employed by (ISC)2. Some of the contributors have spent time as Intense School consultants and trainers. To ensure you are receiving the most appropriate CISSP training available, when choosing a provider for your CISSP certification preparation, ensure that the provider employs working security professionals who can pass along real world experiences and case studies, rather than career trainers. Prerequisites
The CISSP certification program is targeted at professionals with at least 4 years of experience in 2 domains and a college degree or 5 years experience in 2 domains without a college degree.
